About Us

In 1910, Boulevard Nurseries first opened its doors to the community as a nursery. Over the years the nursery has went from being a center piece of Aquidneck Island to a smaller Garden Center and landscape company. Mike and John Jr are now the 4th generation of Kempenaar’s to keep the nursery operation rolling. Mike has over 19 years of experience and a driving passion for the landscape and John Jr has over 17 years of experience and vast knowledge for the Garden Center.
